And the winner is
SoftPerfect RAM Disk 3.4.7 was the fastest in my tests. If you need a RAM drive for your personal computer then it's a fine choice. It has, however, the most expensive commercial license. if you want something free and fast for your business then you should consider ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver 2.0.9 and PassMark OSFMount 1.5. All three programs support multiple drives, have really easy-to-use interfaces and allow you to create huge partitions with only size limit being amount of free RAM in your computer. My personal choice? ImDisk. It's the only one with GNU/GPL license, which means transparency of the code (no backdoor or spyware) and it should stay up to date.
